I’m Samantha, a documentary wedding photographer covering East and West Sussex and Kent. I believe your wedding photos should feel exactly how the day felt - natural, effortless and entirely yours.
My approach is simple, I won't ask you to perform or choreograph your moments. Instead, I blend into the background (even with pink hair!), keeping things calm and capturing your story as it unfolds without interruption. You get a timeless, genuine reflection of your day, without the stiff posing.
Not really a fan of being in front of the camera? Snap! (Pun intended.) I know how you feel which is why it is my job to put you at ease in front of the camera on your wedding day. My aim is to blend into the background so I get lots of lovely, relaxed and natural photos of you and your guests on your wedding without interfering with the flow of your day or making anyone feel uncomfortable.
My wedding photography blends classic and modern elements with a timeless, understated style, capturing the genuine moments that make your day uniquely yours.
When it comes to couples’ portraits, I give light direction to help you feel at ease without making the experience feel posed or overwhelming, especially if you’re not big on being in front of the camera. We spend as little or as long as you feel comfortable.
I’ve been photographing weddings since 2018 and I have enjoyed every one of them. It is such an honour to be trusted to capture these special days .
I’m based in Crowborough, East Sussex, near Tunbridge Wells and am just an hour from London and Brighton. I cover East Sussex, West Sussex and Kent primarily but happy to travel further afield too.
