I saw on a Facebook group that Large Tortoiseshell had been seen at Knepp Estate, a place we had planned to go to for my birthday but the weather wasn’t great so didn’t. However on Thursday it was a lovely day so we made the trip after work. Saw a number of butterflies (no LT unfortunately) but also foxes, rabbits and deer! Well worth a visit.
