Hello!
If you are viewing this page (which is a secret page by the way) then that means you have made an enquiry about me possibly photographing your wedding.
Thank you!
I am always delighted when someone likes my work enough to make contact, even if you don’t book, although of course if you do then book I am even more delighted!
A lot of the information here is already available on my website but when you are in the early stages of wedding planning, I’m sure for many it can feel quite overwhelming, so this page gathers together some key points plus a couple of extra bits.
My style
As you will see from above my style is very relaxed, natural, true to life colours and not contrived. If you want your photos to look like a high end fashion magazine photoshoot then I’m probably not the photographer for you. No shade, I just don’t work that way.
How I work (hint - it’s perfect for those that don’t like being in front of the camera)
I try and blend into the background, not be too obtrusive, just capture your day as it happens. If you are not a fan of having your photo taken then this is going to work well for you as I won’t be constantly in your face snapping away.
If we do spend some time doing couples’ photos (and you don’t have to if your really don’t want to) I give just some light direction to help you feel at ease without making the experience feel posed or awkward, perfect if you’re not big on being in front of the camera (I’m the same so I know how you feel). We spend as little or as long as you feel comfortable.
The only time I might get a bit assertive is if we are doing any group photos (I prefer it though if you can nominate a relative or friend to do that for me though).
My time
You can book me for 3 hours (2 hours if it’s a local wedding) up to 10 hours. If none of my packages are quite the right length of time then you can add extra hours to them. I am more than happy to take smaller bookings on peak wedding dates and days . What time I start is totally up to you, my time is continuous. If you want prep covered then I can do as little as 30 minutes or up to 2 hours before. If you want coverage to start from the ceremony then I recommend you book me to start 30 minutes before your ceremony time.
What you get
- All images in colour and black and white.
- Low res images via a password protected, online gallery which you can share with family and friends.
- High res images with full personal printing rights.
This means you can print out your photos, you don’t have to buy prints through me, and you can do prints for friends and family. What it doesn’t mean is you can use them for commercial reasons, or give them to anyone else to use them for commercial reason without my consent (if used in print) or without crediting me (if used online).
- A complimentary standard Photobook, 28 page (sides) 20x20cm with your choice of photos. (Not included with the 2 hour local package)
- Pre wedding consultation via phone or zoom if required
- Travel up to 50 miles each way

Want to see a full real life gallery?
Please let me know and I will send you a link to one or two. I will try and tailor the ones I send you so that if you are thinking about a 3 hour booking you can see what you might get in the time.
How many photos will we get?
Some photographers will tell you that you get certain amount of photos. I don’t do that. You will get what passes my quality control person (me!) . For longer bookings you can expect to get between 30-50 photos per hour booked. For shorter bookings it will be a higher hourly amount. If you want the high hundreds or even a thousand plus photos then I am not the photographer for you. I want you to enjoy looking through your photos and not feel overwhelmed.
Group Photos
Yes of course I will do some group photos. I don’t show many on my website for a couple of reasons.
1 - They usually will have a number of children in them and I don’t feel comfortable showing photos of other people’s children without consent.
2 - Let’s be honest, they are not the most exciting of photos. Yes I can do something a bit different (like the one above) but these types of photos are better done with the wedding party, not with your Granny and Grandad.
I always recommend a whole group photo BUT it is unlikely that you will get one where you can see everyone’s faces clearly and they all have their eyes open.
I also suggest that you try and limit the rest of the group photos to about 5 or 6 max. I’m more than happy to do many more but it will take time, people get bored and I won’t be getting the candid photos that most people book me for.
AI
Bit of a hot topic currently. I don’t use AI in my photos, I use generative fill in Lightroom or Photoshop to get rid of the odd distracting thing BUT I do not get rid of every fire exit sign, discarded clothing, empty plates, cables, people. If that is what your prep room or ceremony room looks like then that is what I photograph.
Actual seagull, not AI
