Sunday 3rd May - Rowland Wood & Park Corner heath, East Hoathly

Sunday was a first visit to Rowland Wood and Park Corner heath, Near East Hoathly. Owned and managed by the Butterfly Conservation I hoped to see a butterfly or two and was not disappointed. I think we saw more in Rowland Wood rather than Park Corner heath - were there were a few other butterfly spotters looking for the Pearl-bordered Fritillary, which I may have seen and photographed in Rowland Wood. I need to get a book I think to brush up on my identification.

Definitely a place to go back to throughout this project.
